U.S.Drag by Gina Gionfriddo. Directed by Gail Cronauer. Produced at Collin Theatre Center October, 2010.
Photographs by Craig Erickson and Tom Hull.
Recent college grads Angela and Allison move to NYC to find money and happiness NOW. They shun low-paying jobs, hit the clubs and make strange new “friends,” including a socially inept Wall Street broker, a young man drawn to crime victims, a crime victim, a man determined to prevent more people from becoming crime victims and the celebrated author of a fictional memoir. Critics have called it, "Jet-black comedy... A witty, intellectually engaging exploration of what it means to make one's way in the world... lighthearted, but never shallow…a kick-ass play.” From reviews of The Stage Farm’s production, www.thestagefarm.org.
